Indication & Description

Surgical Spirit 95% is a potent, medical-grade topical antiseptic and disinfectant primarily formulated with 95% v/v Industrial Methylated Spirit (IMS). It is commonly denatured with additives like diethyl phthalate, castor oil, and methyl salicylate to prevent ingestion and protect the skin. Skin Antisepsis: Used to disinfect intact skin prior to injections or to cleanse the area around minor wounds.Hardening & Disinfecting: Helps tighten and harden the outer layers of the skin, making it highly effective for preventing bedsores.Flammability: Highly volatile and flammable; keep away from open flames, heat sources, and electrical equipment.Toxicity: Contains denaturants and is strictly meant for external use only. Ingestion can lead to severe poisoning
